New Sermon Series This Sunday we continue our sermon series titled "The Works of the Kingdom" studying Christ's ministry in Matthew 8-9.  During February we are learning about "The Blessings of Discipleship" in Matthew 8:1-22.  By performing miracles Christ showed His saving purpose and power, and now calls us to follow Him as our King, doing the works of His kingdom.  1 John 4:19 reminds us, "We love because He first loved us," and so Christ calls us to be His disciples by first encouraging us with "The Blessings of Discipleship."

Prayer Meeting & Bible Study Wednesday evening, 7-8 pm. We will learn about "The Root of Human Impotence" from James 3:6-9. All are welcome to attend!

Women's Missionary Society will meet Monday, Feb. 23.

Life Line Screening To provide an opportunity to inform residents of Caney about our church, the session has agreed to host a preventive health event put on by Life Line Screening on Monday, March 30.  If you are interested in helping please stay for a brief planning meeting after morning worship next Sunday.
