cover_art_roundedWe were blessed & blasted by Caney hometown boy Dennis Jamison and The Far From Perfect band at his CD Release Party 7 PM Saturday, May 1 at Caney OPC (2nd & Vine in Caney).  What a joy to hear and celebrate CVHS grad Dennis Jamison's testimony to the Lord's grace in his life, and the release of his new CD "All of Me" with The Far From Perfect band.

From his website at jamisontunes.com, here's a little more about Dennis:

jamison_bio_roundedAfter cutting his teeth on hard rock, living a life in search of the next party and loving every minute of it, Jamison married his wife Michelle and soon after was radically saved in 1993 and never looked back. Finding God to him meant leaving the music he had always loved. But God had a purpose for him, God knew that there were people out there who would never darken the door of a church who needed to hear His message.

Jamison started a band. After hearing the raw vocal talent of friend Jennifer Knapp, Jamison began writing and performing with Jennifer at venues all over the midwest. But God had other plans... Jennifer was signed to a record deal and sold millions of records, touching the lives of untold amounts of people. Jamison heard the voice of God tell him to put down his guitar... for a year. Jesus continued to speak and Jamison listened.

Spending 15 years serving in his local church and pouring into his children and working as a paramedic, he was content. God recently spoke again... It was now time to share the more than 100 songs he had written while living in Gods will with the world. What Jamison now brings to the table is a blend of experience in life, loss, love and a heart felt passion to see the lost get found.

With passionate vocals, clear message and musical inventiveness, Jamison aims to continue serving God while sharing Him with the world through creative and powerful songwriting done with a heart of worship and a passion to rock!
